Teaching Philosophy

My function as a music teacher is to help my students meet their goals, whatever they may be. Every musician is a life-long student; therefore, I strive to not only help my students become great players, but also provide them with the tools they will require to, ultimately, teach themselves and become better musicians. I firmly believe that studying music should always be fun, and I’ll try to make sure every step of the learning process is enjoyable.

Rates:

• One on one lessons: $50.00 per hour

• Group lessons: $35.00 per person/per hour

• Guitar technique

• Reading music

• Music Theory

• Ear Training

• Composition

• Idiomatic phrases pertaining to the musical style(s) in which the student is interested
